Lavender Whipped Shea Butter
If you love Shea Butter and want a different “fluffy” verison of your original shea butter, well this Whipped Shea Butter is for you. This creamy recipe is easy and will leave your hair and skin feeling moisturized! Give it a try and let me know if you have tried it or have your own Whipped Shea Butter Recipe.
What you will need:
- 1 cup of unrefined/pure Shea Butter
- 1 tbsp of Joboba oil
- 1 tbsp of coconut oil
- 1 tbsp of Vitamin E
- 1 tbsp of JBCO
- Handheld Electric mixer
- Ziploc Bag
- Mixing bowl
- Lavender essential oil (or other essential oil for scent)
- Container for storing the mixture
Directions
You will need a mixing bowl bowl. Place the unrefined Shea Butter in the bowl, while adding each oil one by one. Continue mixing. Once all the oils are combined with the Shea Butter, mix for 3 minutes or until “fluffy.” Add the Lavender Essential Oil (or whichever essential oil you prefer) and mix again for another 2 minutes. Finally, scoop the Whipped Shea Butter into a ziplock bag cutting a hole at the tip of the bag while squeezing the mixture into a storage container.
