I love trying new products, probably because I am a product junkie, but that’s neither here or there. When I was asked by Latoya of Heritage 1933 to try her new hair and skin products, well let’s just say I was ready!
Heritage1933 Mission
To Celebrate the natural beauty of all women while improving the lives of women and children in need. I love this mission, which is all the more reason for me to try these products.
Packaging
Before I review these 2 products, can we talk about the packaging? My gosh! I loooove the packaging! This is the first thing that caught my eye. Not only are the glass containers on point, but the text on the products are so appealing to the eyes. Cute, love it! And when you are done with the products you can definitely recycle.
Ms. Know it all
Don’t you love this name!
Guys! Guys! I love this product so much! I know for sure this will be one of my new staple products. First because of the ingredients.
Shea, Mango Butter, Coconut Oil
When I opened the container, I was like oh, it’s foamy! Ugh. Nobody likes foamy products they just sit on your natural hair. I felt like, “I knew it all,” pun intended because I really didn’t know anything. After I applied “Ms. Know it All” to wet hair, it literally melted into my strands. MELTED. It felt really fluffy and soft! And it felt like it would keep the moisture in, and it did just that! See my twists below. (Applied from roots to ends).
Oh! And it doubles as a body butter! So I definitely used it after I got out of the shower, and it left my skin feeling very moisturized! I thought it was also going to be too “greasy” for my skin, but it melted quickly once again. Woke up the next day with baby soft skin.
So Fluffy!
“Ms. Know it all” comes in a 16 oz glass container and the cost is $30, but a little bit of this product goes a long way! So it should last for a while! Look how hydrated my twists look! Also, felt very moisturized!
Exhale
Exhale. Relax. Release.
Listen! The smell of this stuff is ammmazzzing! It smells so nice! If you like pink Himalayan salts than this product is for you! “Exhale” is a dead sea salt soak that eases stress, relaxes the body, relieves pain including muscle cramps, and exfoliates dead skin. Did I say it smells great?! It does. I filled up a warm bath and poured “Exhale” into the water while it was flowing. If you like a nice relaxing bath after a long day, than this product is a must buy!
Ingredients: Sodium Chloride (Pink Himalayan Salt),Magnesium Sulfate (Epsom Salt), Bentonite Clay, Cananga Odorata (Ylang Ylang) Flower Oil, Mentha Piperia (Peppermint) Oil, Rose Flower Powder, Tocopherol (Vitamin E).
The only thing I did not like after using this product was the clean up! The rose petals kind of stain the bathtub, so you will have to do a little scrubbing to get it off. Oh, and that it wasn’t enough, I needed more. Otherwise,” Exhale” is great! Love the name. You can get this product in 8oz glass container for $18.
You can find these products as well as others on Heritage1933.com.
