Carmen, of CarmaCare was so nice by sending me all her natural hair products for my blog viewers to read about and hopefully try in the near future. All of these products are affordable and under $20.00. You cannot beat that for natural hair products these days.
B’ Leave-in Conditioner
B’Leave-in Conditioner costs $12 for an 8oz bottle, which is great because a little goes along way and can last a long time. I applied it to soaking wet hair after using, my mudwash shampoo. It provided just the moisture and slip I needed. I did not wash this product out right away instead; I sectioned my hair off, and started finger-detangling. The slip of this conditioner melted any knots I had right away. The knots and tangles definitely were not a problem against this conditioner. The smell is also nice and not too overpowering like some conditioners. B’ leave-in can also be used as its name says as “leave-in”, which is another benefit!
Ingredients: Distilled water, behentrimonium methosulfate, cetearyl alcohol, almond oil, cetyl alcohol, castor oil, aloe vera, pro-vitamin B5, rhodiola hair active, bamboo extract, PEG-8 dimethicone, benzylalcohol-DHA, potassium sorbate, Tertrasodium EDTA fragrance
Seal N-Shine
Seal N-Shine is said to lock in moisture and shine after styling. I applied Seal N-Shine after washing the B’leave in conditoner out. I love any oil that will lock in the moisture of my strands, and I felt like Seal N-Shine did just that. This oil is thick, but not too thick to make the hair feel greasy. If you have thinner hair I do not suggest using this oil to seal rather using it on the ends of your hair. I also used it on my ends and before I took down my braidout. This oil smells great too! It kind of smells like sweet flowers or some type of candy. A little of this products goes a long way, so apply a small amount.
Ingredients:Safflower oil, avocado oil, sheat butter, vitamin E oil, fragrance
Dream Curls
I have to say Dream Curls is my favorite product of this whole line. It is described as a lightweight, slippery gel, that glides through hair providing a medium hold. All of this is true! I used this gel while styling my hair in a braidout and even to lay my edges! Other benefits of this gel are that it did not leave any crunch or residue after I applied it to wet hair. I love gels and I loved how I didn’t have to dip my hand into this gel to get some out. Instead Dream Curls comes in a pump bottle, and in one pump it gives you just the amount of gel you need. This was not my favorite smell, but it was not too bad, because the other benefits.
Ingredients: Distilled water, linseed extract, marshmallow root, carbomer, rosemary oil, olive oil, Vitamin E oil, benzylalcholo-DHA, potassium sorbate, tetrasodium EDTA, triethanolamne, fragrance
Hair Souffle
Hair Souffle was one of the main products that I could not wait to try because of the shea butter included. Sadly, this was my least favorite product out of the line. I felt that before I applied it the texture was a little greasy. While braiding it still felt a little greasy, but the next morning I can say that my hair did feel moisturized. I can’t say I will use this on wet hair again maybe on dry hair it won’t feel so greasy. Also, I did not like the smell AT ALL! It smelled like some type of clay, and was a little strong. It also arrived in a liquidy form, but it become a solid after a few minutes in room temperature.
Ingredients: Pure shea butters, coconut, jojoba, olive, castor oils, Vitamine E oil & fragrance.
