All thoughts are my own.
I am always looking for new products to try because I’m not a product junkie. Spring is right around the corner and I’m looking for fresh new products to try. My favorite products from 2015 are here, and Camille Rose Naturals Curl Maker was definitely on the list. So without a doubt I wanted to try their Coconut Water Collection, specifically their “Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment” because I love a good deep conditioning treatment. I’ve used the the complete line on my natural hair twice, and I’ve got to say I’m impressed! Keep reading for my full review on Camille Rose Naturals Coconut Water Collection, plus two different looks I achieved with the line!
About Camille Rose Naturals
Camille Rose Naturals was founded in 2010 by a mother of 5 who is a dedicated vegan who is delighted by holistic health, wellness, and beauty products. The name Camille Rose came from the founders grandmother name who was the ultimate mixtress who created natural homemade treatments for her family. Let’s jump into the products:
Coconut Water Leave-In Treatment
Gourmet Ingredients: Coconut Water (vitamin k, iron both strengthen and soften hair), Flaxseed Oil (keeps hair healthy, thick)
This is a super creamy yet silky leave-in/ detangling treatment that can be used as a cowash. I used it as a cowash. This cowash went through my hair strands easily and I was able to use only a small amount in each section of my hair. Applying it from the roots to the ends. The detangling was a breeze and it did not take any other products to detangle besides using my wide-tooth comb.
Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment
Gourmet Ingredients: Coconut Water (moisturize and delivers anti-fungal properties), Palm Kernel (strengthens and thickens hair preventing breakage and hair loss)
This coconut buttery cream hair treatment was wonderful! Like I said, I love deep conditioning treatments, and this treatment did not disappoint. I applied it to freshly co-washed hair after using the Coconut Water Leave-In. I applied a generous amount into each section from roots to ends, playing most attention on my ends. I used hair steamer to “comb” distribute evenly. Grabbed a plastic bag, and left the treatment on for an hour but 20 minutes should be fine. Lastly I rinsed with cold water. Loved this.
Coconut Water Style Setter
Gourmet Ingredients: Coconut Water (Penetrates hair shaft), Aloe Juice (Aid in moisture retention and promotes hair growth)
My hair was sectioned off after I washed out Coconut Water Penetrating Hair Treatment, but I applied this styler to damp hair. The Coconut Water Style Setter is very thick cream, for those naturals who love creams.*raises hands* I styled my hair into 2 braid outs on two different occasions, and I loved the results! Not only did my hair feel moisturized after taking down my style, it still felt moisturized on day 4. I love how soft it left my hair as well.
No makeup selfie (Braid Out) Love the definition!
Final Thoughts
All of these products contain Coconut Water, which I am big on. See my GO bananas treatment, where I used Coconut Water as well. I loved each on of these products because of the scent, which is not really a coconut scent it’s more of a tasty smelling cake scent. Each has all natural ingredients, which is why I believe my hair stayed moisturized for so long. Long story short Camille Rose Naturals Coconut Water Collection are super light weight (although thick consistency) and have great natural ingredients to keep your tresses hydrated. You can find their products on their website, Target, Whole Foods, Bed Bath & Beyond, as well as Ricky’s.
